About this coffee cup

A paper cup is a cone section with a rolled rim bead and a recessed base; the printed wrap is a curved blank, so a straight design arcs when it goes on. This mockup maps your artwork the way the printer's blank does, front at the centre and the seam at the back.

Five sizes from a 4 oz espresso to 20 oz, with the base diameter following the rim. Single wall, double wall with an air gap, or a ripple wall; a kraft or white sleeve; a sipper-dome lid in white, black or natural fibre, with its air vent.

Kraft and black are dyed through, so the inside matches; other colours print on white stock and keep a white rim and inside.

Questions

Why is the wrap artwork curved?

A cup's wrap is cut as an arc; the mockup warps the flat artwork the way the printer does, so what you see is what the printed cup shows.

Can I use my own sizes?

Yes. Each product has sliders for its main dimensions and presets for the common sizes; everything else, such as wall thickness or spine width, follows from them.

What size should my artwork be?

The Artwork panel shows each area's print size in millimetres for the current settings; prepare the file at that size, at 300 dpi if it is for print too.
