A paper tube is two nested tubes: a body with a white inner neck, and a lid that slides over the neck. The lid is always the shorter part, and the cut line between them is a design decision, so it is a slider here, from 50 to 85 % of the height.
Set the outer diameter and height, the wall thickness (one value for body, neck and lid, 0.8–3 mm), and kraft or white paper. Artwork goes on the tube body below the cut, the lid side and the lid top; wall images fit the front third of the wrap, where they can be seen.
The lid motion is the real one: a twist to break friction, a lift, and a set-down beside the tube with its print facing front.
A full-wrap image mostly faces away from the camera; the front third is what a product shot shows. Move it round the tube to choose which part faces front.
Yes. Each product has sliders for its main dimensions and presets for the common sizes; everything else, such as wall thickness or spine width, follows from them.
The Artwork panel shows each area's print size in millimetres for the current settings; prepare the file at that size, at 300 dpi if it is for print too.
