An A5 (148 × 210 mm) stapled booklet of 32 pages, the brochure, zine and catalogue format. Set the size and pages, add front and back artwork, export.
A stapled booklet, saddle-stitched in the trade, is sheets folded once and nested, with two wire staples through the fold. One sheet makes four pages, so the count steps in fours, from 8 to 64; beyond that the fold bulks and the inner pages creep.
There is no flat spine, so there is no spine artwork: the cover is one sheet, front and back, with the fold between.
Zines, product brochures, event programmes and instruction booklets all live here; A5 and A4 are the common sizes.
Each folded sheet is four pages; a saddle-stitched booklet can't have a count that isn't a multiple of four.
